29 CFR 1915.14(a)(1)(i): Hot work was performed within, on, or immediately adjacent to spaces that contain or have contained combustible or flammable liquids or gases before those spaces were tested and certified by a Marine Chemist or a U.S. Coast Guard authorized person as "Safe for Hot Work"�. a) At the facility, on tank barge, hull marking Coastal 2526-B: On or about June 28, 2019 and times theretofore, employees performed hot work within and on cargo tanks and adjacent wing void spaces when marine chemist certificate, serial number A007771, issued February 25, 2019 prohibited hot work.
