29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): The employer failed to provide a clean and sanitary condition for all places of employment, passageways, storerooms, service rooms, and walking-working surfaces. a) EG Plastics LLC. The area where the cutting, shredding and melting of recyclable plastic materials was performed as well as the surrounding areas had explosive dust on surfaces including on the surfaces of equipment, machinery, stored materials, sheds, shelving, beams, pipes, duct work , walls, electrical fixtures. The condition was noted on or about 08/07/18. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1,000.00 AS PER 29 CFR 1903.19.
