29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: a.) On or about April 17, 2017, the employer did not ensure that machine specific energy control procedures were developed, documented, and utilized to control hazardous energy when employees accessed the hazardous area of, including but not limited to the Blanchard Model K (Serial #12447) grinder to change grinding stones. b.) On or about April 17, 2017, the employer did not ensure that machine specific energy control procedures were developed, documented, and utilized to control hazardous energy when employees accessed the hazardous area of, including but not limited to the Blanchard Blue #60 grinder to change grinding stones. Precision Steel Services was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.147(c)(4)(I) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 330584, citation number 1, item number 2a and was affirmed as a final order on September 23, 2013 with respect to a workplace located at 31 E. Sylvania Ave. Toledo, OH.
