29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1): Open-sided floors and/or platforms four feet or more above adjacent floor or ground level were not guarded with standard railings (or equivalent) and toeboards: On or about March 8, 2016, the employer failed to ensure employees utilizing the south walk way to gain access to the P3 Rolling Mill were protected against a fall of approximately 59 inches by ensuring a fall protective system was in place. The TimkenSteel Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.23(c)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 978613, citation number 01, item number 002 and was affirmed as a final order on August 21, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 2401 Gambrinus Ave. SW, Canton, OH 44706.
