29 CFR 1910.101(b): The in-plant handling, storage, and utilization of all compressed gases in cylinders, portable tanks, rail tankcars, or motor vehicle cargo tanks were not in accordance with Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965, which is incorporated by reference as specified in CFR 1910.6: a. Outdoor Scrap Yard: A 30 foot cubic container was used for the storage of mixed compressed gas cylinders such as but not limited to, oxygen, acetylene, propane and other compressed gas cylinders that were not stored in accordance with Section 3.5.3 of the Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1 1965, in that reserve stocks of cylinders containing flammable gases were stored with cylinders containing oxygen, on or about, 12/4/15. b. Outdoor Scrap Yard: A small dumpster was used for the storage of mixed compressed gas cylinders, such as but not limited to, oxygen, acetylene and propane and other compressed gas cylinders that were not stored in accordance with Section 3.5.3 of the Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1 1965, in that reserve stocks of cylinders containing flammable gases were stored with cylinders containing oxygen, on or about, 12/4/15. c. Storage Cage/By Office: Compressed gas cylinder(s) in storage, such as but not limited to oxygen and acetylene compressed gas cylinders were not stored in accordance with Section 3.5.3 of the Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1 1965, in that reserve stocks of cylinders containing flammable gases were stored with cylinders containing oxygen on or about 12/04/2015. Park Stein, Inc dba Parkway Iron and Metal Company Inc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.101(b), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314681537, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/19/2012, with respect to a workplace located at 613-614 Route 46 East, Clifton NJ, 07015.
