29 CFR 1910.101(b): "Compressed gases." The in-plant handling, storage, and utilization of all compressed gases in cylinders, portable tanks, rail tankcars, or motor vehicle cargo tanks shall be in accordance with Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965, which is incorporated by reference as specified in Sec. 1910.6: Improper storage of liquid and gaseous chemicals; storage of acids and bases together; unattended running forklift; absence of training on safe handling of corrosive chemicals; inoperable fire extinguisher. 29 CFR 1910.102(a): Cylinders. Employers must ensure that the in-plant transfer, handling, storage, and use of acetylene in cylinders comply with the provisions of CGA Pamphlet G-1-2003 ("Acetylene") (Compressed Gas Association, Inc., 11th ed., 2003): Improper storage of liquid and gaseous chemicals; storage of acids and bases together; unattended running forklift; absence of training on safe handling of corrosive chemicals; inoperable fire extinguisher.
