29 CFR 1910.303(f)(1): Each disconnecting means required by Subpart S of Part 1910 for motors and appliances was not legibly marked to indicate its purpose, nor located and arranged so the purpose was evident: The employer does not legibly mark each disconnecting means for motors and appliances to indicate its purpose, nor locate and arrange it so the purpose is evident. a. This violation occurred on or about August 4, 2014, and times prior thereto, where employee in the Lung Pump Room where exposed to an electrical shock hazard when performing maintenance on Scalder Blower Motor #1 without the motor or electrical disconnect being legibly marked to indicate its purpose nor located and arranged so the purpose was evident. b. PILGRIM PRIDE CORPORATION WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1910.303(F)(1), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 949780, CITATION NUMBER1 ITEM NUMBER 2 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON APRIL 11, 2014, WITH A FINAL ABATEMENT DATE OF MARCH 24, 2014, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 2045 HIGHWAY 244, RUSSELLVILLE, AL 35654. Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the abatement date, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that each disconnecting means required by Subpart S of Part 1910 for motors and appliances is not legibly marked to indicate its purpose, or located and arranged so the purpose is evident.
