29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use. On or about 6/10/14, at the Gainesville facility, the emergency eye wash was not unobstructed an available for immediate use in that a thick vinyl curtain was hung across the doorway where the eyewash/shower combo was located. Abated/Corrected during inspection. 29 CFR 1910.119(d): The employer did not complete a compilation of written process safety information pertaining to the equipment in the process. On or about 6/10/14, at the Koch Foods Gainesville facility, the employer did not have process safety information for the following pieces of equipment that were in service/use: 1- ACC-1 Accumulator located in engine room 2 - INT-1 Intercooler - located in engine room 3 - LTR-1 Recirculator - located in engine room In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
