29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: a) Drop out box of EAF exhaust system: On or about June 2, 2014 and at times prior thereto, the employer did not obtain and provide training on the chemical hazards associated with Austenitic Baghouse Dust from Electric Arc Furnace and Austenitic Baghouse dust from Argon-Oxygen Decarburization which exposed employee(s) to respiratory hazards such as but not limited to cancer and "metal fume fever." b) Drop out box of EAF exhaust system: On or about June 2, 2014 and at times prior thereto, the employer did not obtain and provide training on the chemical hazards associated with Ferritic Baghouse Dust from Electric Arc Furnace and Ferritic Baghouse dust from Argon-Oxygen Decarburization which exposed employee(s) to respiratory hazards such as but not limited to cancer and "metal fume fever."
