29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(iv): The details of the hazard communication program developed by the employer, did not include an explanation of the labels received on shipped containers and the workplace labeling system used by their employer; the safety data sheet, including the order of information and how employees could obtain and use the appropriate hazard information: The employer does not ensure that the details of the hazard communication program include an explanation of the labels received on shipped containers and the workplace labeling system used by their employer and the safety data sheet. This violation occurred on or about March 12, 2014, at the facility where employees were using chemicals such as, but not limited to, VP-Tech coolant when cutting metal without providing training on the workplace labeling system and the safety data sheet hazard information. Pursuant to 29 C.F. R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the abatement date, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that the hazard communication program include an explanation of the labels received on shipped containers and the workplace labeling system used by their employer and the safety data sheet hazard information.
