29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2): Supported scaffold poles, legs, posts, frames, or uprights did not bear on base plates, mud sills or other adequate firm foundation: a) 104 Emerson Court, unit #4, southern most unit, end unit - Employees were working approximately16 feet above the ground, from a pump jack scaffold with poles bearing on a scrapped piece of siding, on or about 03/05/14. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19. Victoria Siding & Roofing Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315978916, citation number 01, item number 002 and was affirmed as a final order on 02/23/12, with respect to a workplace located at Ocean Avenue, Long Branch, NJ 07740.
