29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: a) Big Line #3 Employees cleaned the line without locking out equipment including, but not limited to sealer, carrousel, and conveyors. Energy sources include 480v electrical and 95PSI compressed air. b) New Line #2 Employees cleaned the line without locking out equipment including, but not limited to the sealer, carrousel, conveyors. Energy sources include 480v electrical and 95PSI compressed air. c) Production Equipment Maintenance employees conducted preventative maintenance, such as greasing, on various production equipment including, but not limited to the seamer and destoner, without locking out equipment. Energy sources include but are not limited to 480v electrical and 95PSI compressed air. Violation observed on or about 1/30/2014. Star Snacks Co., LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 305415937, citation number 1, item number 4 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/31/02.
