29 CFR 1910.134(c)(2)(i): Respirator users were not provided with the information contained in Appendix D to 29 CFR 1910.134 when the employer determined that any voluntary respirator use was permissible: (a) On or about January 15, 2014, Maintenance Shop employees (maintenance engineers) were voluntarily using N95 respirators when spraying chemicals, sanding, and fixing pipes. The employer did not provide employees with Appendix D. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
