29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who was on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems. Worksite: The employees who were installing metal deck type roofing onto the steel building at a height exceeding 15 feet above the ground were not protected from falling by any means. CT. Metal Structures, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 890919, citation number 1, item number 3, issued on 03/29/2013 with respect to a workplace located at 505 Farmington Avenue, Farmington, CT and became a final order on 4/25/2013.
