29 CFR 1910.157(c)(4): The employer did not ensure that portable fire extinguishers were maintained in a fully charged and operable condition and were kept in their designated places at all times except during use: a) On or about July 11th 2013, and at times prior, Larry H. Miller Toyota Scion of Colorado Springs did not ensure that their portable fire extinguishers were kept in their designated places at all times except during use. At the time of inspection the fire extinguisher by work bench #23 was missing. There was used oil and other flammable materials in the immediate area. b) On or about July 11th 2013, and at times prior, Larry H. Miller Toyota Scion of Colorado Springs did not ensure that their fire extinguishers were fully charged. A fire extinguisher mounted on the wall of the detailing bay was found to be discharged.
