29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees are engaged in the activities covered by this section: a) In the mill, On June 24, 2013, and at times prior thereto, specific lock out tag out procedures were not developed, and implemented for tasks such as changing the vertical resaw. b) In the mill, On June 24, 2013, and at times prior thereto, specific lock out tag out procedures were not developed, and implemented for tasks such as clearing jams from the sorter stacker lines. c) In the mill, On June 24, 2013, and at times prior thereto, specific lock out tag out procedures were not developed, and implemented for tasks such as clearing plugs at the chipper room. Note: Abatement certification and documentation ARE required for this item. Clearwater Forest Industries, Inc. dBA Evergreen Forest was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 311580807, citation number 02, item number 002 and was affirmed as a final order on April 15, 2009, with respect to a workplace located at Highway 13 South, Kooskia, ID 83539.
