29 CFR 1910.106(e)(2)(ii): The employer did not ensure that flammable or combustible liquids were stored in closed containers: (a) Gold Plane Custom Cabinets, LLC, 11170 Irma Drive, Northglenn, CO 80233: On and before June 13, 2013, the employer did not ensure that containers of flammable liquids were closed when not in use. The 55-gallon drum of hazardous waste located inside the Chemical Storage room was missing the screw cap allowing vapors to escape the drum. There was a plastic funnel inside into the bung hole to allow liquds to be poured into the drum. This condition potentially exposed employees organic vapors and a fire hazard. (a) Gold PLane Custom Cabinets, LLC, 11170 Irma Drive, Northglenn, CO 80233: On and before June 13, 2013, the employer did not ensure that the 1.0 gallon container of Acetone was capped. The missing cap allowed organic vapors to escape the container and posed a potential fire hazard to employees.
