29 CFR 1910.305(b)(1): Unused openings in boxes, cabinets, or fittings were not effectively closed: (a) Tannewivz Band Saw - Employees used the band saw to cut wood into parts used to manufacture custom cabinets and other wooden products. The reset switch box had a 1 1/2 inch X 2 1/2 inch hole in its front panel, approximately 2 inches above the reset switch and a round knockout plug was missing from the top of the box. Employees were exposed to the live 3 phase 230 VAC current inside the box on or about June 4, 2013. No abatement certification or documentation required. The Gretna Millworks, Incorporated dba Lefever Millwork was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 113742654, citation number 1, item number 8 and was affirmed as a final order on November 17, 2008, with respect to a workplace located at 185 Hempt Road, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania 17050.
