29 CFR 1926.501(b)(2)(i): Each employee who was constructing a leading edge 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: Note: If the employer could demonstrate that it was infeasible or created a greater hazard to use these systems, a fall protection plan meeting the requirements of paragraph (k) of 1926.502 should have been developed and implemented. Location: 23 West 116th Street, New York, NY 10026, 2nd floor deck On or about 03/29/13 a) Employees were working on extending the second floor deck by sheathing over the DOKA floor form system. They were not protected from falling while exposed to a potential fall of 15 feet to the ground below. RNC INDUSTRIES LLC.
