29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. Tenth floor: On or about 01/15/2013, the employees, engaged in erecting guard rails around the perimeter of the unfinished deck of the building under construction were not protected from the fall hazards by the use of personal fall arrest devices and or other safe means. Baker Concrete Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 313359259, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 6/11/2010, with respect to a workplace located at 793 Pacific Street Stamford CT 06902.
