29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(ii)(C): The energy control procedure did not clearly and specifically outline the steps for removal of lockout devices or tagout devices and the responsibility for them: On or about 10/24/2012 at 654 Univeter Road Canton, GA; employees required to perform lockout/tagout procedures on multi-energy sourced mechanical equipment including but not limited to the #1 MDM Hopper and #1 Dumper were exposed to struck-by and caught-in hazards where specific procedures did not include the removal of locks and start-up of the machinery following lockout/tagout. REPEAT VIOLATION Sction 17(a) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 and 29 CFR 147(c)(4)(ii)(C). Pilgrim's Pride Corporation WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OSHA STANDARD WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION #315222620 CITATION #1 ITEM #1, ISSUED ON 04/07/2011. WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 129 Potomac Avenue Moorefield, WV 26836. THIS CITATION BECAME FINAL ORDER ON 04/22/2011
