29 CFR 1910.1048(d)(1)(i): Each employer who has a workplace covered by this standard shall monitor employees to determine their exposure to formaldehyde. a. On or about June 3, 2011, in the compounding area, employees worked with materials which contained 2% formaldehyde. The employer failed to evaluate employee exposure to formaldehyde when it was present in the workplace.
