29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where the eyes or body of any person may be exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a) 24483 Sussex Highway, Seaford, DE - In the forklift (PIT) charging area and engine room - adequate emergency eyewash station was not available for employees working in the area. The employees work in the area on a daily basis. The forklift area had a HP Uni-Gard emergency eyewash station with an expired (5/2010) saline bottle. The engine room had a North emergency eyewash station with expired (09/2010) saline bottles. This exposed the employees to injuries from the corrosives of the batteries, cleansers, degreasers, and sanitizers. The violation was observed on or about June 8, 2012.
