29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems, nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502: a) Employees performing roofing work were exposed to a fall of approximately 16 feet. Yupa Construction of Illinois, Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 107436, citation 1, item number 1, issued on November 8, 2011, and was affirmed as a final order on or about December 13, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at 3627 Wayne Ave. Chicago, Illinois. No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
