Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que est+n causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: Empresas Martinez employees work as security guards at the Encantada community located in Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico, the employer did not have a written protocol to handle domestic violence in the workplace for their employees, as required by the Act for the Implementation of a Protocol to Handle Domestic Violence Situations in the Workplace or place of Employment, Act no. 217 of 2006. Hazard: Exposure to domestic violence situation in the workplace. Method to abate the hazard: develop a written protocol to handle domestic violence in the workplace and provide training to all the employees. Empleados de Empresas Martinez trabajan como guardias de seguridad en la comunidad Encantada localizado en Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico, el patrono no tenia escrito el protocolo de Violencia Dom+stica en el Lugar de Trabajo para sus empleados, como exige la Ley para la Implementacion de un Protocolo para Manejar Situaciones de Violencia Dom+stica en el lugar de trabajo o lugar de trabajo, la Ley no. 217 de 2006.
