Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: The Municipio de Vega Baja did not provide training to his employees related to the establishment written protocol for the handling of domestic violence in the workplace, as required by the Act for the Implementation of a Protocol to Handle Domestic Violence Situations in the Workplace or Place of Employment, Act No. 217 of 2006. Hazard: Fatalities, injuries, and illnesses related to domestic violence in the workplace. Method to abate the hazard: Employers shall provide training to all the establishment's employees related to its written protocol for the handling of domestic violence in the workplace. El Municipio de Vega Baja no proveyo adiestramiento a sus empleados relacionado al protocolo escrito del establecimiento para el manejo de violencia domestica en el lugar de trabajo., requerido por la Ley para la Implementacion de un Protocolo para el Manejo de Situaciones de Violencia Domestica en el Lugar de Trabajo o Lugar de Empleo, Ley No. 217 de 2006. Riesgo: Muertes, lesiones, y enfermedades relacionadas a violencia domestica en el lugar de trabajo. Metodo de correccion de el riesgo: Los patronos deben proveer adiestramiento para todos los empleados del establecimiento relacionado a su protocolo escrito para el manejo de violencia domestica en el lugar de trabajo.
