Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: a)Crush or Stroke by a bridge; Employees were permited to work under metal bridge which represent imminent danger due up the bad conditions of the support system. Location: Road 423, Km 2.4, Moca, San Sebastian Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is stop the operation under and close the bridge or dismount the bridge safetly. a) Aplastado o golpeado por el puente; Empleados fueron permitidos a trabajar debajo de un puente de metal el cual representa un peligro inminente debido a las malas condiciones del sistema de soporte. Localizacion: Carretera 423, km 2.4, Moca, San Sebastian Entre otros metodos, un metodo factible y aceptable de correccion para este riesgo es detener la operacion debajo y cerca del puente o desmontar el puente seguramente."
