Text For Citation: 02 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.272(j)(1): The employer shall develop and implement a written housekeeping program that establishes the frequency and method(s) determined best to reduce accumulations of fugitive grain dust on ledges, floors, equipment, and other exposed surfaces: Employees working in and near the feed mill were exposed to fire and explosion hazards. The employer had not fully implemented a housekeeping program to address how often and the methods required to address housekeeping in the feed mill. The Bartlett Cooperative Association was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.272(j)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315085852, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on June 13, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at 401 N. Main St., Bartlett, Kansas.
