29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employers shall provide employees with effective information and training on hazardous chemicals intheir work area at the time of their initial assignment, and whenever a new physical or health hazard the employees have not previously been trainedabout is introduced into their work area. Information and training may be designed to cover categories of hazards (e.g., flammability,carcinogenicity) or specific chemicals. Chemical-specific information must always be available through labels and material safety datasheets. The employer is failing to provide employees with HAZCOM training. This was most recently evident during the inspection of the facility located at 7400 Crosslake Lane Ste 1, Lincoln, NE 68516, where the employer has untrained employees using various chemicals in the screen printing process. Instances include but are not limited to: i. Inadequately trained employees using CAMIE 375 Screen Printer Flash Cure. ii. Inadequately trained employees using CAMIE 380 Screen Printers Adhesive, a spray adhesive that is used to adhere the shirt to the board during the printing process.
