29 CFR 1910.23(d)(1)(i): Flight(s) of stairs with 4 or more risers, less than 44 inches wide and having both sides enclosed, were not equipped with at least one standard handrail: a.) Stairs from the Office to the Second Floor, Upper Flight: The 4.5-inch wide trim board installed at a vertical height of 42 inches to 53 inches from the surface of the tread was used in lieu of a handrail. A handrail was not provided. Note: Abatement certification is required for this item.
