29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) 141-153 Penn Station Lane, Manheim, PA, On or about May 15, 2025, employees installing roof shingles on a new build residential roof were not utilizing acceptable means or methods of fall protection, exposing the employee to a fall hazard of approximately 10 feet to the grade below. b) 141-153 Penn Station Lane, Manheim, PA, On or about May 15, 2025, employees installing roof shingles on a new build residential roof were not utilizing acceptable means or methods of fall protection while walking along the top ridge of the roof, exposing the employee to a fall hazard of approximately 25 feet to the grade below. The Lake Contractor Corp was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1774989, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on March 14, 2025, with respect to a workplace located at 18 Sofia Dr., Manalapan, NJ 07726. The Lake Contractor Corp was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1781109, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on March 28, 2025, with respect to a workplace located at 450 Commerce Lane, Berlin, NJ 08009. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
