29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i):The employer did not ensure that each powered industrial truck operator is competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (l): a. On or about April 24, 2025, at the above addressed jobsite, the employer failed to ensure that an employee required to operate a TEREX TH0606 A Telehandler was adequately trained to operate the powered industrial truck as demonstrated by the successful completion of a training and evaluation program. Mead Contracting, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1761355, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on December 9, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at 2155 Runway Dr.
