29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE): Bldg. 1152: On or about April 1, 2025 and at times prior thereto, employee(s) conduct assigned tasks in the warehouse where it processes incoming shipments and supplied requested tools, materials, safety supplies, and/or chemicals to civil engineering and/or contractors with on occasion the use of forklift(s). The employer did not ensure a Hazard Assessment was conducted onsite and was unable to produce upon request the Hazard Assessment that was a systematic process used to identify potential hazards, assess the risks they pose, and evaluate the vulnerabilities that could exacerbate their impact to employee(s). This condition potentially exposed employee(s) to warehouse occupational related hazard(s).
