29 CFR 1910.147(e)(3): 29 CFR 1910.147(e)(3): When the authorized employee who applied the lockout or tagout device was not available to remove it, and the device removal is completed under the direction of the employer, specific procedures and training were not developed, documented and incorporated into the employer's energy control program: A.) American Turned Products, Inc., on or about 3/27/25 and times prior thereto: employees performed servicing and maintenance tasks on equipment including but not limited to, AS-200L 1210, AS-200L 1209, Hydromat 4125, Hydromat epic rt 1414, Hydromat 4124, NEFF 3384, Hydromat 4107,Hydromat 4119, 4115 Hydromat, and 4117 Hydromat. The Employer had not developed a procedure for use during removal of a lockout device by someone other than the authorized employee who applied it. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
