29 CFR 1910.165(b)(5): Procedures were not established for sounding emergency alarms in the workplace: On or about March 26, 2025, it was documented that employees performing material handling activities in Buildings 3 and 4 of Nebraska Warehouse Company, LLC located at 10064 South 134th Street, Omaha, Nebraska were exposed to fire hazards in that the employer did not adequately establish and/or communicate concise procedures for sounding emergency alarm(s). Adequacy instances included but were not limited to: i. Emergency alert method(s) included in the written Emergency Fire Evacuation Plan that were not available in the workplace identified in the plan and ii. Contradictory directions/instruction in the written Emergency Fire Evacuation Plan on how to notify personnel in case of a fire or other emergency.
