29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): Except as provided elsewhere in this section 29 CFR 1910.28, the employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that is 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level is protected from falling by one or more of the systems described in 29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): The employer is failing to protect employees from fall hazards. At 3928 South Oak Street, Wichita KS, on or about February 28, 2025, employees performing RV roof inspections and repairs were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 12 feet from the edge of the RV roof to the ground. The employees were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall protection systems. RV World LLC was previously cited for a repeat violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard1910.132(d)(1)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1542782, citation number 2, item 1, and was affirmed as a final order on January 07, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 3385 Hawthorne Road POCATELLO, ID 83201.
