29 CFR 1910.219(f)(3): Sprocket wheels and chains which were seven (7) feet or less above floors or platforms were not enclosed: A) On or about November 25, 2024, the power transmission chains and sprockets which were seven (7) feet or less above floors or platforms were not adequately guarded to prevent accessing in-going nip/mesh points on the Wides Trim Saw Line even-end roller drive chain and sprocket. B) On or about November 25, 2024, the power transmission chains and sprockets which were seven (7) feet or less above floors or platforms were not adequately guarded to prevent accessing in-going nip/mesh points on the Wides Trim Saw Line chain and sprocket conveyor type system that delivers boards to the saws in-feed system. The Pallet Service Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.219(f)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1643498, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 6/29/2023, with respect to a workplace located at 525 East Hwy 12, Knapp, WI 54749.
