29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(A):Each authorized employee shall receive training in the recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation and control. a) Located at 150 Fourth Avenue, Mount Sterling, OH 43143: On or about November 13, 2024, the employer did not ensure each authorized employee was adequately trained on the methods and means for energy isolation in that employees did not know to isolate the energy prior to peening cutters on the thermoform machines, and performing set up tasks on the extruder. New Wincup Holdings, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(A), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1629743, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on April 26, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 1351 Hawthorne Lane, West Chicago IL 60185.
