29 CFR 1915.507(b)(1): The portable fire extinguishers and hose systems were not selected, installed, inspected, maintained, and tested by the employer according to NFPA 10-2002 Standard for Portable Fire Extinguishers. Beyond Vessel, Floating Dock: On or about October 22, 2024, and at times prior thereto, the employer did not ensure that the portable fire extinguishers were inspected according to NFPA 10-2002 Standard for Portable Fire Extinguishers. This condition potentially exposed employees to fire hazards.
