29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets: a. On or about October 9, 2024, at the above addressed jobsite, employees working below residential framing carpentry operations were not wearing hard hats, thereby exposing the employees to struck-by hazards. Chris Carpentry Co. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1926.100(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1591574, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on September 28, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 4 Leanda Ln. in South Barrington, Illinois. Kryzsztof Kowalkowski dba Chris Carpentry Co. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1926.100(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1563270, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on February 22, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 513 Porter St. in Lemont, Illinois.
