29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a- 179 South Main Street, Manahawkin NJ: Employees were exposed to fall hazards of 29 feet 9 inches when installing roof caps onto a commercial structure's steep pitched (approximately 5:12) roof's hip/ridge, and performing other related activities, while wearing full body harnesses that were not connected to anchors with lanyards or other approved means. Condition noted on or about 10/09/24.
