29 CFR 1910.28(a)(1): The employer did not provide protection for each employee exposed to fall and falling object hazards. The employer did not ensure that all fall protection and falling object protection required by this section meet the criteria in � 1910.29, except that personal fall protection systems required by this section meet the criteria of � 1910.140. a) 15994 US-13 Harrington, DE 19954: On or about July 18, 2024, employees were exposed to struck-by hazards created by packages falling from elevated surfaces to the lower working surface, without the benefit of a protective barrier, or other means of preventing dropped objects. United Parcel Service (UPS) was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.28(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1627698, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 01/25/2024, with respect to a workplace located at 325 Ruthar Drive Newark, DE 19711.
