29 CFR 1926.102(b)(1): Protective eye and/or face protection devices did not comply with any of the consensus standards identified in sections 1926.102(b)(1)(i)-(iii) of this standard. a. On the roof of a residence, at a temporary worksite located at 267 Day Avenue in Jacksonville, Florida 32254: On or about July 11, 2024, the employer exposed an employee to eye injury hazards, in that eye protection (sunglasses) utilized by an employee, did not comply with ANSI Z87.1 consensus standards, as the employee operated a pneumatic nail gun to install roofing materials.
