29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1):Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652 (b) or (c). a) On or about July 1, 2024, at the jobsite: employees were exposed to crush-by hazards while working in an excavation 60' long x 25' wide and 7' deep on the east side and 10' deep on the west side, with near vertical walls, in class C soil, in that, cave-in protection was not provided. Sitek, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.652(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1734071, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 06-10-2024, with respect to a workplace located at North W Corner of Orange Blossom Trail and Sand Lake Rd, Orlando, FL 32809.
