29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE): (a) On or about 6/19/2024 and at times prior, the employer did not assess the workplace to determine the hazards present when employees used electrical protective equipment such as Salisbury High Voltage Gloves while conducting repairs and/or maintenance in overhead power lines. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
