29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation were not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652 (b) or (c). (a) On or about June 7, 2024, at a jobsite located at or near 7897 88th Ave, Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158, employees working in the west end of the excavation were exposed to cave-in and engulfment hazard while working in an excavation that was between seven ( 7) to 10 feet deep without an adequate protective system in place. D K Contractors, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1) , which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1602105, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 12/1/2022, with respect to a workplace located at 5671 75th St. Kenosha, WI. 53140.
