29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with paragraph (b) or (c) of this section: a. At the intersection of International Speedway and Atlantic Avenue in Daytona Beach Florida. On or about May 28, 2024, in the 6-feet deep trench, the employer exposed employees to a soil cave-in and engulfment hazard in that the employees were not protected by a protective system.
