At the jobsite located at 15325 S. Pflumm Rd. Olathe, Kansas, employees performing dowel Drilling activities were exposed to silica hazards. The employer failed to implement engineering and work practice controls as outlined in Table 1 to reduce employee exposure to silica dust. Gunter Construction Company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.1153(c)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1589344 , citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on July 19, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 6300 MO Hwy 9, Parkville, MO. 64152.
