Text For Citation: 02 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): The employer does not ensure that all places of employment, passageways, storerooms, service rooms, and walking-working surfaces are kept in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition: 865 Quaker Highway, Uxbridge, MA 01569: On or about May 13, 2024, and continuing after for multiple days, the employer does not ensure that the maintenance bay was kept free of electrical power cables and pneumatic air hoses that created trip and fall hazards for employees who perform detail and maintenance activities on RV's/Campers. Camping World RV Sales, LLC dba Camping World of Eau Claire, was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.22(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1583062, citation number 2, item 1, and was affirmed as a final order on August 3, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 6440 Scully Drive Eau Claire, WI 54701 Although the Area Office held a conference with the employer prior to issuing this citation and the others now being issued in this inspection, the issuance of these citations does not represent the end of the inspection. The inspection is still open, due to the employer's failure to comply with the subpoenas that OSHA issued and served during the inspection. The Acting Secretary of Labor has filed a petition for subpoena enforcement in the U.S. District Court of Massachusetts, as part of which the Asking Secretary has asked that the statute of limitations for OSHA to issue citations be tolled.
