29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: On or about April 30, 2024, employees were exposed to fall hazards in excess of 14 feet while engaged in residential roofing activities. Fall protection was not being utilized while employees were engaged in roof tear-off and roof installation activities. No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item. R.A.C. Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) , which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1737787 , citation number 2, item number 1 with respect to a workplace located at 114 S. Dwyer Ave., Arlington Heights, IL. 60005. R.A.C. Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1614950, citation 1, item 1, and was affirmed final order on June, 12, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 733 S Maple Ave, Oak Park, IL 60304.
